Animal Sanctuary Zooasis

This master plan concept brought me back to the United Emirates, where challenging climate conditions often welcome innovative ideas.

The design aimed to infuse an element of surprise and discovery, guiding visitors on an exciting journey from start to finish.

Inspired by rock labyrinths found in various natural formations globally, I envisioned rocks offering essential shade for both animals and humans. By integrating these rocks with water features and harnessing natural airflow, the environment would feel remarkably fresh and invigorating.

Scattered between the bends and curves of these labyrinths were animal habitats, creating a "zooasis" for visitors.

The project was carried out in cooperation with zoological consultants from "Worldwide Zoo Consultants"
